….. I HAVE BEEN THROUGH MY SHARE OF PAINFUL TEARS AND HURT TOO! HERE IS JUST AN ONCE OF MY TRUE STORY, A LETTER I WROTE TO CHRIST:
“Dear Lord, I Thank you because at the end OF ALL MY PAIN AND HURT you had a better plan. Father, you witnessed the physical and verbal abuse in my marriage. The slaps on my face, kicks and torture! the verbal attacks, the disrespect and infidelity. The STD's from my own (back then) husband. Gonorrhea and chlamydia. Thank GOD, they were curable.
Lord Jesus, you saw the many nights, lonely in my bedroom, seeking for you on my knees for hours. Many nights laying on the floor with swollen eyes due to tears, lost of voice due to weeping and unbearable headache due to crying. Without exaggeration, nightly from 8pm to 4am I'd cry to you as he chased other women. He would leave me for days ….sometimes an entire week.
I prayed for your mercy. I begged you to change him ! WHAT A FOOL I WAS!I Prayed for you to heal my torn heart..I remember one night our next door neighbor knocked on my door. She was a sweet Lanita woman. She said to me “Sweetheart, leave him! Go back to your parents’. My daughter experienced abuse in her marriage as well. Now, she’s living back with me again. You are too beautiful for this. This man might kill you”
Lord, you witnessed the worst day of my life! The humiliation that happened in 2009 on a Sunday afternoon after church (bright day light) when I arrived at our apartment and all my belongings/stuff were in black TRASH BAGS and thrown out at the entrance of our apartment building in SilverSpring, Maryland. MY (BACK THEN) HUSBAND EVICTED ME OUT OF OUR APARTMENT. What an embarrassment! and begged him for me to stay because I was blindly in love and didn’t know my rights! My neighbors watched from their balconies. THEY STARED as I begged him on both knees to the ground, crying like a child as they witnessed. Tears and snots running down my face.Where was my dignity and respect? .
As if this was not enough, after my TRAUMATIC divorce, I experienced 3 additional betrayals. These 3 men broke my heart one after an other. It was an unending cycle. I wanted to end my life! THE LAST heartbreak happened in 2016. He left me to marry another WOMAN .. and it happened in the church! I went through public shame, defamation of character, lies and high lever of humiliation..AGAIN!… this was 8 years of HELL.
Now, I AM HEALED. NOW I AM RESTORED. NOW, I AM YOUR SERVANT! I understand why the anointing is so costly. Now I understand why you allowed me to go through it all. I Had to go through the FIRE and be REFINED. I had to carry the cross!I had to experience the process to qualify for the Oil. I had to be pressed. Without the storm, without the abuse, without the years of devastation, I would have never had this beautiful testimony. Without the agony from my past,I wouldn't be compassionate to be about helping women HEAL. If i never went through the trauma, I wouldn’t be used by You to heal the broken hearted, the rejected, the bound and the abused..You healed me, made me whole, completely dried my tears, strengthened me and BIRTHED my ministry. LORD you are MY ROCK, my HEALER.I'm so blessed to wholeheartely walk in my purpose. It is truly an honor to serve you JESUS. It is an honor to be called SERVANT by You. 2 yrs after humiliating me, my ex husband begged me to come back. He apologized. IT WAS TOO LATE TO GO BACK! Father I thank you for restoring me.”
